Söndagsklättring på KC
Ta med vatten och fika. Om du har skor, klättersele och repbroms så ta med det också! Rep och quickdraws kan tas med om du vill ledklättra. Egna klätterskor och sele är att föredra men man kan hyra utrustning där och UppX har utrustning att låna ut om ni hör av er i tid.
När: Söndag 30 mars klockan 10:00. Om du kommer sent kan du leta efter en större grupp som du tror är UppX:are eller skriv i chatten (se längre ner).
Var: Vi träffas utanför omklädningsrummen. Det finns gratis parkeringar och det går också att ta buss till Uppsala Business Park norra. Har du frågor hur du tar dig hit, fråga oss gärna i chatten!
Kostnad: Inträde till klättercentret och eventuellt utrustning (behöver du låna utrustning har vi klätterskor och sele för utlåning om du hör av dig i tid)
Krav: Det finns inget krav på erfarenhet, alla nivåer är välkomna! Vi delar upp oss på plats så att de som vill klättra med rep får ett replag. Medlemskap i UppX är ett krav och det ska vara förnyat för året 2024/2025. Bli medlem eller förnya medlemsskapet här:

It’s time for the UppX Climbing Committee to invite you to a new climbing event! We’ll meet at Klättercentret in Uppsala, which has both bouldering and rope climbing. We’ll climb on top ropes, bouldering, and possibly lead climbing. All climbing levels are welcome! For those who want, there’s a sauna at the climbing center to warm up sore muscles afterward.
Bring water and snacks. If you have climbing shoes, a harness, and a belay device, bring them along! Rope and quickdraws can be brought if you want to lead climb. Personal climbing shoes and harnesses are preferred, but you can rent equipment there, and UppX has equipment available for loan if you contact us in advance.
When: Sunday 30 mars at 10:00. If you arrive late, look for a larger group you think might be UppX members, or write in the chat (see below).
Where: We will meet outside the changing rooms. There’s free parking available, and you can also take the bus to Uppsala Business Park North. If you have questions about how to get here, feel free to ask us in the chat!
Cost: Entrance to the climbing center and possible equipment rental (if you need to borrow equipment, we have climbing shoes and harnesses available for loan if you contact us in advance).
Requirements: No experience required, all levels are welcome! We will split into groups on-site so those who want to climb with ropes will form a rope team.
